For the third year, the Arbor Hospice Leadership Team has awarded the Kudos Award to the employee who continues to go above and beyond their job responsibility, multiple times throughout the year, with Staff Kudos at the monthly Leadership Team meetings.

Previous Kudos Award recipients include Art Spinney (2009) and Nancy Stanley (2010).

The 2011 Kudos Award recipient is Arbor Hospice's Dietary Services Manager, Jill Gettle.

Gettle has served as the chair of the EAC committee and volunteered to hold nutrition sessions for staff. The free soup provided for patients and families in The Residence is a result of the customer service committee that Gettle initiated. Gettle leads her department with skill and comes in early, stays late and does whatever is necessary to complete every project. With a positive attitude, Gettle exhibits the Arbor Hospice Team spirit and inspires others around her.
