Retirement Plan Assets

IRAs, 401(k)s and other retirement benefits can be one of the most efficient forms of planned giving.  As much as 70% of your retirement assets can eventually be consumed by taxes.  By naming The Arbor Hospice Foundation as a beneficiary for a percentage or specified amount of the account, estate and income taxes on that gift can be avoided entirely.

Advantages:  This is one of the most popular and tax-efficient means of planned giving.  To add, remove, increase or decrease your charitable gift amount is easy as updating your beneficiary information with your retirement plan provider.
