The Arbor Hospice Foundation Successfully Completes Campaign for Arbor Hospice

ANN ARBOR (Feb. 23, 2017) – The Arbor Hospice Foundation has successfully completed its comprehensive Campaign for Arbor Hospice capital fundraiser, it was recently announced by Arbor Hospice Foundation President Gloria Brooks. The multi-year effort generated more than $7 million to support current patients and families, as well as expand Arbor’s reach in providing the highest standard of end of life care.
Contributions to The Campaign for Arbor Hospice are supporting the nonprofit agency in three distinct areas:
· Direct care programs and services - including delivery of uncompensated, pediatric hospice and palliative care; grief support services and complementary therapies; as well as community outreach and education.
· Inpatient care – creating the new Residence of Arbor Hospice with 13 private rooms in Saline, through a community partnership with EHS Senior Solutions.
· Technology upgrades – purchasing computers and software to enhance patient care and medical record security.
More than 9,000 donors supported The Campaign for Arbor Hospice, with the Towsley Foundation among the largest contributors at $500,000.
