Arbor Hospice & Palliative Care co-sponsors free screening of Consider the Conversation 2 on Nov. 17

Join the Washtenaw Health Initiative (WHI) from 6-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor for a free screening of the Emmy-nominated film Consider the Conversation 2 - Stories About Cure, Relief and Comfort, to learn about advance care planning and how providers, patients and caregivers can begin the conversation. An hors d'oeuvre reception begins at 5 p.m.
The event is co-sponsored by Arbor Hospice & Palliative Care, the United Way of Washtenaw County and the Center for Healthcare Research and Transformation.
The 86-minute film shares first-hand accounts from doctors, caregivers and patients as they navigate the end-of-life journey and the questions and decisions that go along with fighting diseases.
Following the screening, moviegoers are invited to a special Q & A session at 7:45 p.m. with advance care planning experts moderated by Oliver Kim, former deputy staff director, United States Senate Special Committee on Aging. Panelists include:
