Memory in the Mirror
A workshop for women who have experienced the death of their mother

Whether we were age 16 or 60, whether her death was sudden or anticipated, the loss of our mothers bonds us as women. In her book Motherless Daughters, author Hope Edelman describes this loss: “Ask any woman whose mother has died...and she will tell you that her life is irrevocably altered; that this one fact forever changes who she is and who she will be. Gone is the caregiver, teacher, adversary, role-model, and guide to being a woman.” This workshop will emphasize ways to make our mothers a part of the legacy we create in our own lives.
