Complementary Therapies

Pain is much more than a physical ailment. Pain can be spiritual, psychological, emotional or physical, and each patient's pain calls for a unique and individualized management plan.

At Arbor Hospice, each patient's pain management plan is uniquely tailored to maximize comfort and quality of life. In addition to traditional pain treatment options such as medical intervention, Arbor Hospice offers a variety of alternative pain management therapies, including music therapy, massage therapy and pet therapy.

Our complementary therapies are utilized alongside our medical interventions to provide patients with a holistic plan of care. Arbor Hospice understands that everything our patients do affects their comfort and quality of life. Complementary therapies help patients control symptoms of their disease, deal with stress and relieve anxiety.
