For nearly four decades, Arbor Hospice has been the community’s premiere provider of comprehensive, compassionate hospice care. In 1998, expanding our commitment to the community, we opened The Residence of Arbor Hospice, offering high-quality, in-patient care within a comforting and supportive environment.
Today, The Residence of Arbor Hospice remains a vital and valued resource for patients and families who need an enhanced level of care. However, because the cost of this care usually exceeds insurance and patient contributions, The Residence of Arbor Hospice operates at a significant loss each year.
Despite these financial pressures, our not-for-profit commitment continues to drive us to do what is right and decent for patients and their families.
The Residence of Arbor Hospice has always relied on generosity of the donor community to ensure that the gentle, round the clock bedside care – provided by true heroes of hospice care – remains available to all who seek dignity, peace and comfort at the end of life.
