Ann Arbor, MI, November 11, 2017 — Arbor Hospice is seeking caring and compassionate volunteers interested in donating their time as patient companions in the Cadillac area. Those who have a passion for patient companionship, especially those who are music-minded or military-focused, are encouraged to submit a volunteer application.
Patient companions help provide socialization and companionship to patients or caregivers, through playing cards, listening to music or similar activities. Interested individuals will be invited to a training session to learn about working with patients, as well as general information about the nonprofit hospice organization, its patients and the benefits that active volunteers may experience.
