Patient companions help provide socialization and companionship to patients or caregivers, through playing cards, listening to music or similar activities. Interested individuals will be invited to a training session to learn about working with patients, as well as general information about the nonprofit hospice organization, its patients and the benefits that active volunteers may experience.
Interested volunteers can contact Kathy Lietaert at 231.779.5409 for more information or visit the Arbor Hospice website.
